Le Volcan - 2

Aujourd'hui réveil à 6:30, la voiture est encore un peu gelée dehors :(
Après un petit café pour se réchauffer, direction le Volcan, aujourd'hui, le temps devrait être beau.

Effectivement, soleil magnifique, bon il fait quand même un peu froid, car le vent est frais, mais sinon,
Vue hyper dégagée. Nous avons retrouvé notre volcan :)

Today, awake at 6:30, the car is still a little bit frozen outside :(
After a short coffee to warm up, direction the volcano, because today the weather should be nice.

In fact, it is extremly nice weather today: sunny, but still fresh because of the wind, but the view is perfectly clear.
We found back our volcano. :) Today we can take some pictures from the Pas de Bellecombe.

On redescend un peu, pour faire un petite marche (à peu près 1:30), sur le Piton Chisny. Ca grimpe sec, mais la vue est très jolie.
On remonte au Pas de Bellecombe pour se faire une pause déjeuner-sandwich.

We drive a little bit back down and do a little walk on the Piton Chisny. It's going rudely up, but the view is really nice.

After this little walk, we drive back up to the Pas de Bellecombe, to do our sandwich lunch break.

Et pour redescendre, on essaye une route que l'on ne connait pas encore: direction Notre Dame de La Paix. Magnifique point de vue sur la rivière des Remparts, et petit sentier forestier d'à peu près 1 heure.
On a découvert des Ananas marron, des arbres bois maigre, qui poussent avec des troux énormes dans le troncs, des orchidées qui s'accrochent aux arbres, des arums magnifiques, etc ...
Sentier facile à conseiller. Petite remarque, c'est un sentier assez bizzare, car on descend sec, mais on a jamais l'impression de remonter ... Et pourtant, c'est une boucle, on arrive bien au point de départ ...

To drive back down, we try a road that we never drove till now: direction Notre Dame de La Paix. Beautiful point of view on the Remparts River.
And a nice little forest path. We discovered some wild ananas, some trees (Bois maigre) which are growing with huge holes in their trunk, orchids which are growing on trees, beautiful Arums, and so on ...
The path is really easy to do. But it is a little bit a strange way, as we always had the impression to walk down, almost never to walk back up. But it is a circle path and we really landed as the same point...

Retour à la chambre, pour un apéro sur la terrasse, pour une fois qu'on est de retour avant qu'il fasse sombre et froid :)
Aujourd'hui, on est passé du paysage martien ou lunaire à un paysage presque alpin. C'est fou!


Back to the room to take a small apero outside, on our terrace, for once that we are back before it is dark and cold. :)
Today we went from the Mars landscape to the almost Alps lanscape. Crazy!
