Aujourd'hui départ vers 8:00 pour une petite marche. Mais d'abord 1:30 de route, direction les hauts de Petite-Ile.
La route sur la fin est assez serrée, mais il n'y a pas de voitures, donc pas de problèmes. Tout au bout de la route, départ du sentier.
Et quel sentier: ca grimpe, ca grimpe et ca grimpe. 300 m de dénivellé positif. La cata, mes genoux étant au repos depuis 2 jour ont du mal à se remettre en route.
Today, we start around 8:00, for a little walk. But first we have to drive 1:30, direction the top of Petite-Ile.
The street is not really large at the end, but there is nobody else driving here so no problems. At the end of the street, the walk can start.
What for a path: it is going up, up and up. 300 m in positiv. It is a desaster for my knees. Now that we were relaxing 2 days long, it is difficult to walk again.
Le sentier est sympathique, en forêt avec des orchidées sauvages en fleur. Mais ca se couvre, donc en fait, quand on arrive au soit disant point de vue, on ne voit rien du tout!
Tout ca pour ca ... :( Comme dirait Martin: ce qui compte, c'est le chemin, pas l'arrivée.
Après avoir attendu 10 minutes pour être sûrs que le brouillard ne se lève pas, nous retournons à la voiture, et la, ca descend, ca descend, et ca descend.
The path is nice, in the forest, with some wild orchids flowers. But the clouds are coming slowly... So when we arrive on top at the point of view, in fact we see nothing at all!
All that for that ... :( But like Martin would say: the way is the goal.
We wait 10 minutes to be sure that the sun does not appear suddenly and then we walk back to the car, and now it is going down, down and down ...
Sur la route du retour, on s'arrête au souffleur et à la Pointe au Sel, pour voir les grosses vagues s'écraser sur les falaises.
Driving back, we stop at the Souffleur and the Pointe au Sel, to watch the big waves crashing on the rocks.
Ce soir direction Boucan Canot pour vérifier l'avancée des travaux sur le front de mer.
